i finished Hugo's beanie last night, just in the nick of time. when we woke this morning it was snowing. both boys were straight outside, beanies on to enjoy the snow falling on their faces.

I looked up this pattern on Ravlery after seeing it on yours - I have a big head though and I think it may accentuate that! My mum's going to kindly knit for the girls - she's one of thos super speedy knitters that I'm not!
Just bought the wool to make one each for the girls, think the 1-2 is too small for an almost 6 year old - did you use the bigger size (as in the Ravelry adult size) for your elder son?
