a pile of 1/2 inch hexes ready to be sewn together. I am thinking of making the hexes into the front of an eye pillow and the back to be linen for a Friend that is going through a rough patch at the moment. although...............
i am tempted to join in with this....
but with 1" hexes i think, to save my sanity...

Holy Moly! That is a pile of patient work right there! They will be stunning as a cushion front.
So,SO gorgeous. That gift sounds perfect to me. I love 1/2" hexes but am going 2" for the hex-along and 1" for... Well, who knows yet!
