red cabbage eggs
Hugo went out into the garden this morning and picked some leaves, we then placed them onto the egg and then wrapped it in a stocking. we then placed them in a pot of boiling red cabbage, water and vinegar and then waited. this is how they turned out, we think they are beautiful.
Hugo thinks the bottom one looks like a forest.

Great idea! Will be our activity for Good Friday this year.
Brilliant. They're really striking. I'm guessing you don't eat the eggs, right?
That bottom egg freaks me out - to me it looks like a bird skeleton! A forest is much nicer. What a lovely thing to do together.Nic
